Course Overview

After successfully completing the course, the student would have acquired relevant appropriate and adequate technical knowledge together with the professional skills and competencies in the field of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning so that he/she is properly equipped to take up gainful employment in this Vocation. Thus he/she should have acquired. Illustrate the fundamental principles and applications of refrigeration and air conditioning system.

• Obtain cooling capacity and coefficient of performance by conducting test on vapour compression refrigeration systems.

• Present the properties, applications and environmental issues of different refrigerants,

• Calculate cooling load for air conditioning systems used for various CO5 - Operate and analyze the refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
